Basking Ridge, NJ – December 6, 2015 – MATHESON continues its program of strategic expansion with the acquisition of 3-D Welding & Industrial Supply Inc. (“3-D Welding”) in Central Texas.
3-D Welding was founded in 1980, and has grown to become one of the largest independent welding supply operations in Texas. Operating out of seven facilities in the Central Texas Region that includes San Antonio and Austin, 3-D Welding offers industrial, specialty, and bulk gases, plus welding hard goods, equipment, supplies and services.
Scott Kallman, President and CEO of MATHESON, commented, “We continue to implement our vertical integration strategy to serve high growth markets with all grades of cylinder gases, bulk liquid products, and a broad range of related equipment.
